  Linea de Investigación
 

Mis principales áreas de investigación han sido estudios en genética plantas con énfasis en genética de poblaciones y mejoramiento genético de frutales. En los últimos cinco años he incorporado líneas relacionadas con el control genético de la producción de compuestos funcionales. En la actualidad mis líneas de investigación se orientan a la aplicación de herramientas biotecnológica para el desarrollo de productos alimenticios y valorización de subproductos de la agroindustria. En ambos casos busco realizar investigación para identificar y obtener ingredientes funcionales, aditivos especializado, materias primas con valor agregado y nuevos productos alimenticios.
